Risk Officer
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Risk Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks that could potentially impact the organization. This role requires a deep understanding of risk management principles, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders. The Risk Officer will work closely with different departments to ensure that risk management strategies are integrated into all aspects of the organizations operations. Key responsibilities include developing risk management policies, conducting risk assessments, and implementing risk mitigation strategies. The successful candidate will also be responsible for monitoring and reporting on risk exposure, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and providing training and support to staff on risk management practices. Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a risk register.

• Develop contingency plans for potential risks.
• Review and update risk management policies regularly.
• Ensure that risk management practices are aligned with organizational goals.
• Communicate risk management strategies to stakeholders.
• Identify and assess emerging risks.
• Develop and implement risk awareness programs.
• Support the development of a risk-aware culture within the organization.
• Attend and make presentation before Roak Management Committee

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Risk Management, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Professional certification in risk management (e.g., CRM, FRM) is preferred.
• Minimum of 6 - 10 years of experience in risk management or a related field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in risk management software and tools.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards.
• Experience in conducting risk assessments and developing risk mitigation strategies.
