Riveting Machine Operator

We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Riveting Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team. The successful candidate will operate riveting equipment used in the assembly and relining of heavy-duty truck brake shoes.

Responsibilities

• Operate brake shoe riveting and de-riveting machines
• Install brake lining onto heavy-duty brake shoes using rivets
• Load and position brake shoes and lining correctly in the machine
• Ensure proper rivet placement and secure fastening
• Inspect finished brake shoes for quality and workmanship
• Check lining alignment, rivet seating, and overall product condition
• Follow production specifications and quality standards
• Perform basic machine adjustments and daily equipment checks
• Keep the machine and work area clean and organized
• Follow all workplace and machine safety procedures
• Assist with other brake shoe production and warehouse duties when required

Qualifications

• Previous experience operating riveting, press, brake relining, or similar industrial machinery is preferred
• Experience in brake shoe manufacturing or remanufacturing is an asset
• Comfortable working with machinery, hand tools, and production equipment
• Able to perform repetitive manufacturing tasks safely and accurately
• Good attention to detail and quality
• Able to lift and handle heavy-duty brake shoes and related materials
• Dependable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team
• Training can be provided to the right candidate

Pay: $17.60-$30.35 per hour
