RLT/RBT - ABA Therapy

Job Summary

Join our dynamic team as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) or Behavior Technician (RLT) specializing in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy! In this vital role, you will deliver high-quality, evidence-based behavioral interventions to children and individuals with neurodevelopmental disabilities, including autism spectrum disorders. Your energetic and compassionate approach will help clients develop essential skills, improve behavior, and enhance their quality of life. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference while gaining valuable experience in behavioral health and special education.

Duties

• Implement individualized ABA therapy plans and protocols under supervision, ensuring consistency and fidelity to treatment models
• Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), promoting independence and self-care skills
• Collect and record behavioral data accurately during therapy sessions to monitor progress and inform treatment adjustments
• Support clients in developing communication, social, and functional skills through engaging teaching strategies
• Maintain detailed medical documentation, client records, and progress notes in compliance with HIPAA regulations
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and update personalized care plans tailored to each client’s needs
• Communicate effectively with clients’ families and caregivers to support consistency across environments and reinforce therapeutic goals

Experience

• Prior experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities, including autism spectrum disorders or neurodevelopmental disorders
• Hands-on experience delivering direct behavioral therapy in home-based, school, or clinical settings
• Knowledge of applied behavior analysis principles, behavior management techniques, and data collection methods
• Familiarity with medical terminology, medical records management, and HIPAA compliance standards
• Experience working within special education environments or school settings is highly desirable
• Demonstrated ability to implement ABA therapy protocols accurately and ethically following the Professional and Ethical Compliance Code for Behavior Analysts
• Strong communication skills for client interaction, team collaboration, and family engagement
