RMC Plant Operator

Role & responsibilities

* Operate and monitor the RMC batching plant efficiently and safely.

* Manage complete batching operations as per approved mix designs and production requirements.

* Ensure accurate proportioning of cement, aggregates, water, admixtures, and other materials.

* Coordinate with QA/QC, Site Engineers, and Project Managers regarding concrete requirements and production schedules.

* Monitor plant performance, production output, and material consumption.

* Identify and troubleshoot operational issues related to batching, weighing, conveyors, mixers, and control systems.

* Maintain daily production, dispatch, material consumption, and plant operation records.

* Ensure proper cleaning, routine maintenance, and upkeep of the RMC plant.

* Coordinate with transit mixer drivers and site teams to ensure timely concrete dispatch.

* Ensure strict adherence to safety procedures and operational standards.

* Minimise material wastage and maintain efficient plant utilisation.
