Aura's Therapy Center is a multidisciplinary therapy practice providing mental health counseling, speech therapy, and occupational therapy to children, adolescents, and adults in Clermont. We are seeking a motivated Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern to join our team as an independent contractor. This is an excellent opportunity to build your clinical skills and caseload in a collaborative setting while accumulating your supervised hours toward LMHC licensure, with free clinical supervision provided by our Florida Qualified Supervisor.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide in-person individual couples, family, and/or group therapy to a diverse client population
• Conduct biopsychosocial assessments and diagnostic evaluations under supervision
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
• Collaborate with our speech and occupational therapists to support clients who receive multiple services
• Complete timely, accurate, and compliant clinical documentation, which will be reviewed and co-signed by your supervisor
• Attend scheduled clinical supervision sessions
• Follow Florida licensing regulations, the ACA Code of Ethics, and practice policies
• Maintain client confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA

Qualifications

• Active Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern (RMHCI) registration with the Florida Department of Health
• Master's degree in mental health counseling or a related field from an accredited program
• Strong clinical, documentation, and communication skills
• Interest in working as part of an interdisciplinary team [and experience with children/adolescents preferred]
• Reliable and professional, with a commitment to ethical practice
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) required
