RMO-ICU (Alternate Night)

Responsibilities:

• Provide continuous medical care to critically ill patients in the ICU during assigned shifts.
• Monitor patient conditions, vital signs, and progress; promptly identify and respond to clinical changes.
• Assist in the management of life-support systems, including ventilators and monitoring equipment.
• Perform clinical procedures as required (e.g., IV lines, arterial lines, intubation support).
• Collaborate with ICU consultants, nursing staff, and multidisciplinary teams for patient management.
• Maintain accurate and timely medical records and documentation.
• Ensure adherence to hospital protocols, infection control standards, and patient safety guidelines.
• Participate in handovers, case discussions, and emergency response situations.

Requirements:

• MBBS or equivalent medical degree from a recognized institution.
• Valid PMDC license.
• Minimum 1–2 years of experience in a Critical Care Unit / ICU.
• Certification in ACLS preferred.
• Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills.
• Ability to work independently during night shifts.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
