Duties

• Perform professional massage therapy treatments tailored to each client's needs, focusing on relaxation, injury recovery, or pain management
• Assess clients’ health history and discuss treatment goals to develop customized therapy plans
• Maintain detailed records of treatments provided, progress notes, and client feedback
• Educate clients on post-treatment care and recommend exercises or lifestyle adjustments when appropriate
• Ensure a clean, safe, and comfortable treatment environment adhering to all health regulations
• Communicate effectively with clients to understand their concerns and explain treatment procedures clearly
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals if necessary to support comprehensive patient care

Requirements

• Valid registration and licensing as a Registered Massage Therapist (RMT) in accordance with local regulatory bodies
• Strong understanding of medical terminology related to musculoskeletal health and wellness
• Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members
• Proven customer service skills with a friendly, empathetic approach
• Ability to maintain professionalism and confidentiality at all times
• Prior experience in a clinical or spa setting is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided if needed
