Job Summary

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality massage therapy treatments tailored to each client's needs, utilizing various techniques such as Swedish, deep tissue, or sports massage
• Conduct thorough assessments of clients’ health histories and current conditions to develop effective treatment plans
• Maintain detailed and accurate client records, including treatment notes and progress reports
• Educate clients on self-care practices and post-treatment recommendations to enhance results
• Ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming treatment environment in compliance with health regulations and clinic standards
• Communicate clearly with clients about procedures, expectations, and any contraindications or concerns
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals when necessary to support comprehensive client care

Requirements

• Valid registration and licensing as a Registered Massage Therapist (RMT) in accordance with local regulatory bodies
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology relevant to massage therapy and client health conditions
• Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with diverse clients and team members
• Proven customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor
• Ability to listen actively, assess client needs accurately, and adapt treatments accordingly
• Prior experience in a clinical or spa setting is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for new graduates
• Must be committed to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to all safety protocols
