RN - 2nd shift Supervisor

Palmer Healthcare Center, a family owned, 61 bed skilled nursing facility seeking an energetic Shift Supervisor with long term care experience to help in leading our nursing department. This position is full time salaried, and you would be responsible for ensuring that patient care is provided to maximize the functional capabilities in physical, social, and psychological areas for all residents that we care for.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provides direct supervision and monitoring of the nursing care given to our residents on a daily basis ensuring required documentation is completed.
• Shares “on-call” responsibilities with other supervisory staff and provides direct care and takes a cart as necessary.
• Investigates accidents and incidents related to our residents and staff.
• Conducts nursing assessments.
• Initiates disciplinary action as necessary for staff members.
• Participates in annual survey and/or complaint survey processes as directed.
• Performs additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Possess and maintains a valid RN Mass nursing license.
• At least 2 years of supervisory experience in long term care.
• Holds and maintains a current CPR Certification.
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and clinical skills.
• Ability to handle multiple responsibilities and make independent decisions.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $48.00 - $52.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32.0 – 40.0 per week
