Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our outpatient clinical team. In this vital role, you will deliver expert patient care across diverse medical settings, including primary care, specialty clinics, and urgent care environments. Your expertise will support comprehensive assessments, treatment plans, and patient education, ensuring high-quality care delivery. Duties

• Perform thorough patient assessments, including vital signs, physical examinations, and medical history documentation using advanced EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems such as Epic and Cerner.
• Administer medications and injections accurately following aseptic techniques and HIPAA regulations to ensure patient safety.
• Assist with diagnostic procedures such as venipuncture, catheterization, suturing, and specimen collection/processing.
• Provide patient education on disease management, medication adherence, lifestyle modifications, and preventive health strategies.
• Manage acute pain and chronic conditions in various settings including emergency rooms, inpatient units, and outpatient clinics.
• Collaborate with physicians and specialists in areas like cardiology (including cardiac catheterization), ophthalmology, infectious disease care, geriatrics, and behavioral health to coordinate comprehensive treatment plans.
• Support triage processes by evaluating patient symptoms to prioritize urgent cases efficiently while maintaining compliance with NCQA standards for quality care delivery.

Experience

• Proven experience working in diverse clinical environments such as hospital medicine, emergency medicine, ICU (Intensive Care Unit), trauma centers (Level I & II), or neonatal/pediatric units like PICU or NICU.
• Strong background in medical-surgical nursing with familiarity in ICD-9/10 coding for accurate documentation and billing purposes.
• Prior experience with EMR/EHR systems including Epic, Cerner, Athenahealth or eClinicalWorks is highly desirable.
• Demonstrated competence in critical care procedures such as ventilator management, airway management, telemetry monitoring, and acute care response procedures.
• Knowledge of infectious disease protocols, infection control practices, and aseptic techniques essential for safe patient care.
• Experience working with individuals with disabilities or developmental delays in settings like assisted living or long-term care facilities is advantageous.
• Ability to perform complex procedures such as ostomy care, gastric lavage, spinal taps, or neonatal resuscitation procedures confidently.

Pay: $50.00 - $60.00 per hour
