RN Float Nurse

North County Nursing and Rehab is seeking a compassionate and dedicated leader for our RN Float Nurse position! This is an exciting opportunity to work in all aspects of the facility ensuring overall duties get completed as well as making sure we provide high-quality care in accordance with facility policies and state regulations for our residents!

Job Type: Fulltime

Salary: Flexible based on experience

Shift Availability: Mon-Fri, 8a-5pm

RN Float Nurse Duties and Responsibilities:

• Blood Sugars (if requested/needed by charge nurse)
• Vitals
• UDA/Skin Assesments
• Med cart and nurse cart audits
• CNA Management/CNA Checklists
• Resident room audits
• Wound care
• Input physician orders
• Lab Reporting
• Administers and records medications and treatments when needed
• Prepares for and assists Physicians and others with diagnostic procedures and treatments
• Participates with other team members in planning, implementing and evaluating nursing care and other patient activities
• Assists in the admission, transfer, and discharge of patients
• Records on patient charts observation of patient’s responses to nursing care rendered
• Maintains environmental conditions conducive to the comfort and safety of patients
• Supervises the floor staff on day to day duties
• Assists with on boarding and training new staff

Registered Nurse (RN) Qualifications and Skills:

RN Experience : 1 year (Preferred)

RN Licensure (Required)
