This dynamic team can float to multiple specialties, including Ortho Trauma, Med/Surg, Neuro Trauma, Cardiac Telemetry, and Oncology , providing a unique opportunity to build a broad and diverse skill set. In recognition of the flexibility and expertise required to float between units, Resource Pool nurses receive a generous $7.00 per hour differential on all shifts .

POSITION PURPOSE

The Acute Care RN provides safe, effective, and compassionate care to patients with varying levels of acuity. Responsibilities include assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care; coordinating with the interdisciplinary team; and supporting patients and families throughout their care journey.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Associate Degree in Nursing required; BSN preferred
• Current Iowa RN license required
• American Heart Association BLS required
• ACLS required for units with telemetry monitoring
• Mandatory Reporter training within 3 months of hire
• Basic computer skills
