Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and highly skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our healthcare team in Kershaw, SC.

POSITION SUMMMARY

The main responsibility is to provide basic nursing care to patients, aid the physician by performing administrative duties, guide and supervise certified medical assistants, and closely work with and report to the Provider where applicable.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Greet patients and update patient records.
• Focus on preventing further illness.
• Maintain an acceptable state of health for the patient, and improve the well being

of the client through treatment, comfort measures, and pain control.

• Assessment of the patient.
• Check vital signs and perform Intake Exam.
• Administer medications, blood draws and execute general lab testing.
• Measure intake and output.
• Inspect and change dressings, care for pressure ulcers.
• Follow-up with patients concerning questions and lab work.
• Assist in patient education.
• Perform basic clinical duties assigned by the healthcare provider, as long as the

licensed clinician directly supervises and assumes responsibility for the action of the RN.

• Responsible for the care and handling of disposable and reusable instruments.
• Assist physician with minor surgery including set-up and clean-up.
• Maintain clinical supplies and invintory.
• Update and ensure compliance in clinical and lab procedures.
• Maintain lab arera and its compliance protocols.
• Perform other duties as required or assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

· Associate’s degree in nursing (AND) plus relevant experience; Bachelor’s degree in nursing (BSN) preferred.

· Three (3) or more years of clinical nursing experience, preferably in primary care or outpatient setting.

· Active South Carolina nursing license (RN).

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

· Proficiency in using EHR systems (Athena preferred) and Microsoft Office Suite.

· Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and work well under pressure.

· Ability to maintain confidentiality and knowledge of HIPAA regulations.

· Previous leadership or supervisory experience preferred.

· BLS/ACLS certification.

Pay: $35.00 - $40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
