RN Manager

THE ROLE:

The Nursing (RN) Manager is responsible for actively participating in the planning, and supporting the delivery of quality general and psychiatric nursing care consistent with the facility’s goals and objectives. Duties include staffing, leading in assigned nursing administration areas such as Infection Control, maintaining needed supplies, Staff Education and competency review. Provides immediate supervision when on the patient floor and acts as DON Designee as assigned. The Nursing Manager supervises the direct care nursing team, ensures that the inpatient programs are staffed with the appropriate resources to ensure high quality of nursing care delivery, assists with orientation for new employees, and collaborates with nursing staff on maintaining a high level of service and quality medical care.
