Job Objective:

• Provides on unit and department specific education to nursing and allied health staff through informal and formal education programs. Assists Clinical Directors and Clinical Managers in ensuring staff onboarding, initial & ongoing competency management, skills assessment & development, and career-long opportunities for professional growth. Assists in accreditation and regulatory educational requirements and documentation.

Qualifications:

Education:

• Required: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or Master’s in Nursing

Licensure/Certification:

• Required: California Registered Nurse (RN) License; American Heart Association BLS; Must meet requirements for assigned specialty clinical areas
• Preferred: Certification in Nursing Professional Development; Certification in clinical specialty

Experience:

• Required: Two (2) years of nursing experience in an acute hospital or ambulatory care clinical setting
• Preferred: Clinical education and professional development experience; experience as a clinical leader/ charge nurse or preceptor

*A $10,000 sign-on bonus is available for full-time RN positions. Part-time RN roles are eligible for a prorated bonus. The bonus is paid in installments of $2,500 with the first paycheck, $2,500 at one year, and $5,000 at two years. Employees must be in a part-time or full-time status at the time of the second and final bonus payments. Offer valid for external new hires only. Additional restrictions may apply.
