What they need
Position: Registered Nurse – Observation Unit
Location: Elmhurst Main Hospital
Hours: 7am-7pm, with every 3rd weekend and rotating holidays
Responsibilities: Provide safe, compassionate nursing care across patient populations by planning, implementing, and evaluating care plans. Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes and continuity of care.
Qualifications:
Associate Degree or higher in Nursing; Bachelor’s required within five years if only an associate’s degree
Current Illinois RN license
CPR certification from the American Heart Association
Knowledge of EKG interpretation and NIHSS Stroke Scale certification (required)
Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree, surgical care experience, ACLS certification, and 1 year inpatient experience
