RN-Registered Nurse - PM Shift Supervisor

Meadowbrook Manor in La Grange is expanding our staffing and is now seeking an Registered Nurse (RN) PM shift supervisor to join our team.

The RN Supervisor functions as the lead nurse on assigned shift and provides oversite of nursing care in their assigned area. As a part of our care team, you’ll bring your strong customer service and interpersonal skills to interact with our residents, families, physicians and other members of our multidisciplinary team.

You must also possess the ability to pass medication and provide technical nursing care, recognize significant signs and symptoms of disease; demonstrate mastery of nursing procedures.

Responsibilities:

· Provide professional and administrative leadership to staff.

· Coordinate nursing, medical and/or behavioral health care activities with all staff to ensure smooth and complete coordination of efforts during shared shift.

· Provide mentoring and training as needed.

· Coordinate all care rendered to patients, including physician orders and diagnostic information, and ensure consultations are ordered.

Requirements:

• Recognize significant signs and symptoms of disease
• Ability to pass medications
• Ability to provide technical nursing care guidance.
• Clear and active Illinois Registered Nursing (RN) License
• 2+ years of Supervisory or Management experience
• In-depth knowledge of Long-Term Care/Skilled Nursing Facility procedures
• Team management skills
• Great communication and people skills
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
