Bermuda Village Retirement Community is seeking a compassionate, dependable, and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) Supervisor to join our Resident Care team on a part-time basis. We are looking for a dedicated nursing professional who is passionate about providing quality care to our residents while supporting and supervising our nursing staff.

Position Details

• Job Title: RN Supervisor
• Status: Part-Time
• Department: Resident Care
• Reports To: Director of Nursing
• Pay Type: Non-Exempt
• Location: Health Care

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support CNAs and nursing staff to ensure residents' care needs are met.
• Administer medications accurately and efficiently.
• Assess and monitor wounds, provide wound care, and promote healing and skin integrity.
• Maintain accurate resident records and complete required clinical documentation.
• Collaborate with the care team to determine appropriate treatments and changes in resident care.
• Monitor vital signs and report changes in residents' conditions promptly to the Director of Nursing or on-call providers.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, transfers, and mobility, as needed.
• Educate residents and caregivers on wound care, infection prevention, and pressure ulcer prevention.
• Follow all safety, infection control, emergency, and resident rights policies.
• Respond promptly to emergency calls and report incidents or concerns appropriately.
• Maintain resident confidentiality and promote dignity, respect, and independence.
• Provide professional, courteous customer service to residents, families, visitors, and team members.
• Participate in the rotating on-call schedule with the Administrative Nursing Team.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

• Current, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Must meet all required health and safety requirements.
• Must successfully pass a criminal background check.
• Must be able to perform the essential job duties, with or without reasonable accommodation.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and clinical skills.
• Compassion for working with older adults and a commitment to providing high-quality resident care.
