In this vital role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing services to patients with cardiac and other critical conditions, utilizing advanced electronic health record (EHR) systems and telemetry equipment.

• Position: RN MS/Telemetry
• Location: Springfield, MO
• Duration: 26 weeks
• Shift: 4x12 (48 hours - Night)
• Facility: Mercy Hospital Springfield
• EMR: Epic
• Scrub Color: Black
• Start Date: 11/02 or 11/09

Payrate: 3,347 weekly for 48 hours

Requirements: Min 1 year recent RN Telemetry Experience

Duties

• Continuously monitor cardiac rhythms and vital signs using telemetry equipment, promptly identifying abnormal patterns or changes in patient condition
• Administer medications, including IV infusions and injections, following established protocols and ensuring accurate documentation in EMR/EHR systems
• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including physical examinations, neurological checks, and physiological evaluations to inform care plans
• Collaborate with physicians, cardiologists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized treatment strategies
• Provide patient education on cardiac health, medication management, and lifestyle modifications to promote recovery and well-being
• Maintain sterile techniques during procedures such as suturing, catheterization, or specimen collection to prevent infections
• Document all nursing interventions accurately in medical records while adhering to HIPAA regulations and hospital policies

Pay: $3,347.00 per week
