RN-Weekends 7D Medical Telemetry full time days

Find your calling at Mercy! Utilizes the Mercy Nursing Conceptual Framework and nursing process to provide patient care. Maintains professional accountability for provision of patient care for the assigned patients. Coordinates the patient care in conjunction with other departments. Maintains patient rights and confidentiality of patient information.

Position Details This position will be every Friday, Sat, Sunday 7a-7p once off orientation.

• undefined Qualifications:Education: Graduate of an accredited registered professional nursing program. Licensure: Is personally responsible for obtaining, and maintaining, a current RN license within the hiring state and/or compact licensure in which nursing duties are performed and must meet all state board of nursing requirements. Certifications: Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association or successful completion of course within 30 days of hire. Physical requirements/demands: Position requires individuals to push, pull, and/or lift 50 pounds on a regular basis Position requires prolonged standing and walking each shift Position requires the ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties"Nurse Residency Available: Mercy Springfield offers a year-long Nurse Residency Program tailored to the specialty area in which each nurse is hired. All graduate nurses participate in the program, along with select experienced nurses based on their individual experience and professional development needs."

Our unit offers numerous learning opportunities, providing a strong foundation in nursing and clinical skills. We handle both chronic and acute diseases, balancing telemetry, and cardiac care. Our patients present with multi-system needs, including chest pain, heart failure, dysrhythmias, sepsis, infectious disease, wound management, pneumonia, COPD, diabetes, gastrointestinal conditions and more. We also care for patients requiring surgical interventions such as cath lab procedures, angiograms, EGD, colonoscopy, and anticoagulation therapies.
