About the Role

Elite Premier Nursing Services is seeking an experienced and resilient Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide one-on-one in-home care for high-acuity patients, including post-operative (post-op) cases and patients with complex behavioral health needs. This role also includes skilled nursing services such as IV infusions, start-of-care visits, and wound care.

This is a PRN position with a flexible schedule, ideal for nurses who are clinically strong, adaptable, and confident working independently in the home setting.

• Environment: Must be comfortable working in homes with pets (including cats) and possible smoking households

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care in accordance with individualized care plans
• Provide care for post-operative patients, including monitoring recovery and preventing complications
• Perform Start of Care (SOC) and Resumption of Care (ROC) visits as assigned
• Administer IV infusions, medications, and prescribed treatments
• Perform wound assessments, wound care, and dressing changes
• Monitor patient condition, behavior, and overall clinical status
• Utilize therapeutic communication and de-escalation techniques when needed
• Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation
• Communicate effectively with the interdisciplinary care team, patients, and families
• Maintain professional boundaries in high-acuity and unpredictable environments

Qualifications

• Active Florida RN or LPN license
• Experience with post-op care, high-acuity patients, and/or behavioral health cases
• Experience with IV therapy, wound care, and SOC documentation preferred
• Strong crisis management, observation, and communication skills
• Ability to remain calm, professional, and composed in challenging situations
• Compassionate, confident, and firm clinical approach
