RN/Nurse Registry Administrator (Part-Time & Per-Diem)

About the Role

We are seeking an organized, reliable Registered Nurse (RN) to step into the role of Nurse Registry Administrator. This position oversees day-to-day administrative operations and contractor compliance across our Oakland Park and Boca Raton locations. Prior experience in home health, nurse registries, or healthcare administration is a plus, but training and operational support will be provided.

With a light weekly time commitment (10–15 hours/week), this role offers excellent flexibility and is ideal for an active retiree or experienced nurse looking for a balanced, low-stress position.

Additionally, candidates who wish to earn extra income can opt into per-diem clinical opportunities, including client care assessments, medication management, and specialized wound care.

Key ResponsibilitiesAdministrative & Operational (10–15 hrs/week)

• Contractor Onboarding & Credentials: Verify that all independent care providers (RNs, LPNs, CNAs, HHAs) maintain active Florida licenses, certifications, CPR credentials, and required state background checks.
• File Maintenance & Record-Keeping: Ensure digital and physical files comply with state regulatory standards for nurse registries.
• Office & Registry Coordination: Help manage office administrative tasks, answer incoming client/caregiver calls, and coordinate roster availability across our Oakland Park and Boca Raton offices.
• Computer & Software Use: Navigate our registry software, email, and digital documentation systems with confidence.

Optional Per-Diem Clinical Opportunities

• Conduct initial and routine client care assessments in local private homes or facilities.
• Provide medication administration setup/management and wound care treatments as requested by clients on a per-diem basis.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Active Florida RN License: Must currently hold an unencumbered Florida Registered Nurse license in good standing.
• State Administration Eligibility: Meets Florida health administration requirements (active Florida RN license satisfies this standard).
• Background Screening: Must successfully pass a Florida Level 2 Background Check.
• Reliable Transportation: Valid Driver’s License, active auto insurance, and access to a reliable vehicle for travel between office sites and optional client visits.
• Computer Proficiency: Comfortable with basic office software, email, online database management, and electronic recordkeeping.
• Experience: Prior experience in home health, nurse registries, or healthcare administration is a plus, but training and operational support will be provided.
