What they need
We are looking for an experienced Road Designer to support our ongoing and upcoming road infrastructure projects in Sarawak.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of relevant road design experience.
- Strong experience in geometric road design, horizontal and vertical alignment, grading and earthworks design.
- Experience designing roads through mountainous, hilly and challenging terrain is highly preferred.
- Candidates with previous experience involving rural or interior road projects in Sarawak will have a strong advantage.
- Familiar with applicable JKR road design standards and requirements.
- Proficient in relevant road design software such as Civil 3D, OpenRoads Designer or equivalent.
- Able to work independently and coordinate remotely with the project team.
- Able to review design constraints and propose practical alignment/design solutions considering terrain, constructability and earthworks.
Engagement
This position is open to experienced professionals seeking part-time, remote or project-based work. Working hours can be flexible depending on project requirements.
