Road Worker - Government - Singleton

APG Workforce is currently seeking an experienced Road Worker for a 6-month contract within a Government sector role based in Singleton.

• Location: Singleton
• Duartion: 6 Months + Possibility of extension
• Pay Rate: $45.45 per hour + Super
• 9-day fortnight Monday to Friday, generally 7:00am – 4:00pm

About the Role
This role supports the construction and maintenance of road infrastructure across the NSW state highway network. You will be part of a crew delivering a range of road maintenance and civil works.

Key Duties

• Maintenance of existing pavements and drainage systems
• Construction and upgrade of pavements and drainage infrastructure
• Installation and maintenance of roadside fixtures and signage
• Road maintenance works including minor and heavy patching
• Repairs to guardrails and safety barriers
• Vegetation removal and general labouring duties as required

Essential Requirements

• Workers on Foot (WoF)
• General Construction Induction (White Card)
• Current valid driver’s licence
• Traffic Control tickets – Traffic Controller (TCR) and Implementer (IMP)
• MR/HR licence preferred but not essential
