Roading Crew | Tauranga

Unite Recruit is looking for experienced civil operators to join our team for ongoing civil construction and maintenance projects.

These are not solely machine operating or paving roles. We’re looking for versatile operators who know how to get the job done, are comfortable working across different areas of civil construction, and are just as willing to jump off the machine and get on the tools when required.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Asphalt paving and reinstatement
• Pothole repairs
• Pavement construction and maintenance
• Drainage works
• Operating civil machinery and plant
• General civil labouring
• Traffic management setup where required
• Other civil construction and maintenance activities

Requirements:

• Proven experience in a roading crew.
• Valid Full class 2 driver’s license with WTR endorsement.
• Strong understanding of construction site operations and safety practices.
• Ability to perform basic vehicle maintenance and troubleshoot minor issues.
• Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.
• Physical stamina to handle the demands of the job, including working in various weather conditions.
• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug & alcohol test.
