Responsibilities

• Respond promptly to roadside assistance calls and arrive equipped with the necessary tools and parts.
• Diagnose vehicle issues accurately using mechanical knowledge and technical tools.
• Perform repairs such as tire changes, battery jumps, fluid top-offs, and minor mechanical fixes directly at the roadside.
• Utilize hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment like ohmmeters to troubleshoot electrical systems.
• Conduct basic vehicle maintenance tasks including fluid checks and replacements to ensure safe operation.
• Document all services performed clearly and thoroughly for record-keeping and customer communication.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area within your service vehicle and ensure all tools are in proper working order.

Skills

• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to identify and resolve common vehicle issues efficiently.
• Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and electrical testing devices such as ohmmeters.
• Experience with vehicle maintenance procedures including fluid changes, battery replacements, and tire repairs.
• Ability to operate diagnostic equipment confidently and interpret technical data accurately.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive attitude toward troubleshooting roadside emergencies.
• Good communication skills for explaining repairs clearly to customers or dispatch teams.
