Responsibilities

• Collect and dispose of trash, litter, and debris from roadside areas using appropriate hand tools and safety equipment
• Operate groundskeeping and landscaping equipment such as trash grabbers, brooms, and small power tools to efficiently clear debris
• Follow safety protocols diligently to prevent accidents during outdoor work activities
• Identify and report hazardous waste or unusual debris that may require special handling or disposal procedures
• Assist with minor landscaping tasks such as trimming overgrown vegetation or maintaining roadside plantings when needed
• Maintain cleanliness of work area by properly storing tools and disposing of collected waste according to environmental guidelines
• Collaborate with team members to ensure all assigned sections are maintained consistently and efficiently

Requirements

• Prior outdoor work experience preferred, especially in grounds maintenance or landscaping roles
• Basic mechanical knowledge and familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and landscaping equipment
• Knowledge of plant identification, horticulture practices, irrigation systems, and pesticide management is a plus
• Ability to operate groundskeeping machinery such as lawn mowers, trimmers, or snow plows if necessary
• Strong adherence to safety protocols and environmental regulations during all tasks
• Physical stamina to stand, walk, bend, lift heavy objects, and perform outdoor labor for extended periods
• Excellent attention to detail with a proactive approach to maintaining roadside cleanliness and safety standards
