ROASTERY WAREHOUSE ASSISTANT / DELIVERY DRIVER

Code Black Coffee is seeking an experienced, reliable, and all-round legendary Warehouse Assistant/Production Packer/Delivery Driver to join our dedicated production and warehouse team in our state-of-the-art Brunswick roastery.

We are looking for someone with a can-do attitude who is willing to jump in and do what needs to be done to get our customers their all-important coffee orders. The right individual would be responsible for packing the coffee products produced by the roastery for wholesale and retail, assisting in organising all the production ready for shipping to customers, and intermittently hit the road to deliver the precious goods to our customers.

Key tasks for this position include:

· Preparing and packing coffee products for shipment

· Organising and stacking stock and deliveries

· Ensuring all orders are packed and fulfilled as per invoice

· Maintaining a high level of quality control by ensuring damaged or defective products, or incorrect items are identified and corrected before consignment

· Preparation of cold coffee bottled drinks such as cold brew and iced coffee

· Safely driving around Melbourne to deliver boxes of coffee on schedule

To be considered for the Warehouse Assistant/Production Packer/Delivery Driver role you will have the following qualities:

· A minimum of 1 years’ experience in a similar role

· Be able to work quickly and efficiently with a strong focus on maintaining quality standards

· Be well presented, responsible, friendly, flexible and a team player

· Be able to demonstrate a good working knowledge of Australian/Melbourne road rules

· Have solid and safe driving record and practices with a full Australian Driver’s Licence

· Have high attention to detail and a sense of pride in producing the very best at all times

· Have a high level of professionalism

· Be able to work independently and unsupervised, and communicate effectively with our team members

· Be able to think flexibly and respond to situations in an adaptive manner and use common sense

· Ability to take direction and communicate clearly in English

· Able to perform physically demanding work (e.g lifting, bending, etc)
