We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented operator for a Robot Welder to join our manufacturing team! In this role, you will operate robotic welding equipment to assemble and fabricate high-quality metal components. Duties

• Set up, program, and operate robotic welding machines to perform precise welds on various metal parts and assemblies
• Monitor robotic systems during operation to ensure optimal performance and quality standards are maintained
• Perform manual welding using techniques such as TIG (Tungsten Inert Gas) and Stick welding when necessary for complex or custom tasks
• Use hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment to prepare materials for welding and assembly processes
• Conduct inspections of welded components for defects, ensuring adherence to specifications and safety standards
• Maintain detailed records of welding activities, including process parameters, inspection results, and any adjustments made
• Assist in the assembly of fabricated parts into larger assemblies or finished products as needed

Skills

• Proficiency in TIG welding, Stick welding, and other manual welding techniques with a strong focus on quality and safety
• Experience operating robotic welding systems and programming automation equipment
• Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and fabrication methods related to sheet metal work
• Solid understanding of mechanical principles and basic math skills for measurements and calculations during setup and inspection
• Knowledge of sheet metal fabrication, assembly processes, and mechanical assembly techniques
• Ability to troubleshoot equipment issues quickly and perform routine maintenance on welding machinery
• Strong attention to detail, safety consciousness, and the ability to work efficiently in a team environment

Pay: £12.71-£14.00 per hour

Expected hours: 37.5 – 44.0 per week
