Job Scope and Responsibilities

Business Process Engineering Manager

The Business Process Engineering Manager, based at Thane HUB and reporting to the Lead – RPA & Business Process Engineering, will be responsible for coordinating crossfunctional teams, planning and driving execution of process reengineering initiatives, and designing key process elements to meet defined milestones within stipulated timelines. This role sits within the Business Transformation, Process Governance & Customer Experience vertical under Business Transformation and Robotic Process Automation.

Key Responsibilities (Pointerwise)

1. Program & Project Management (40%)

• Design, establish, and manage implementation programs using Agile/Lean methodologies to improve services, experiences, and business models.
• Translate business objectives into clear project milestones and break down highlevel requirements into actionable goals.
• Allocate milestone ownership to relevant team members and drive timely execution.
• Track progress, publish status reports, and ensure alignment with timelines.
• Identify obstacles, escalate issues, and recommend corrective actions.
• Assess risks proactively during planning and execution.
  KPIs: Timely project execution, defined outcomes, early risk detection, SLA compliance.

2. Process & Solution Design (40%)

• Develop process elements aligned with the overall solution architecture.
• Create process definitions and workflow maps to support automation and transformation initiatives.
• Facilitate crossfunctional collaboration for process alignment and optimization.
• Build scalable, efficient processes that support business objectives.
  KPIs: Positive feedback from departments and team leaders.

3. Stakeholder Management (20%)

• Support user departments in transitioning project initiatives into BusinessAsUsual.
• Coordinate with crossfunctional teams to ensure timely completion of project deliverables.
• Manage vendors through clear communication of requirements, timelines, and change requests.
  KPIs: ICSAT scores and feedback from external stakeholders.

Additional Responsibilities – Information Security

• Adhere to SBI General’s Information & Cyber Security Policy.
• Exercise due care in protecting company assets and access credentials.
• Follow established security protocols, incident reporting, and escalation procedures.
• Ensure protection of SBI General data while employed and postseparation.

Education & Experience Guidelines

Education:

• Graduate or PostGraduate degree in Business Management (MBA/PGDBM).

Core Experience:

• Minimum 4+ years of experience in Business Operations across departments.

Preferred Knowledge/Experience:

• Insurance domain qualification (III Licentiate/Associate).
• Certification in Project Management / SCRUM / Agile.
• Awareness of Artificial Intelligence and its applications.
• Experience in General Insurance industry.
