POSITION OVERVIEW

The Engineering department is seeking an Automation Engineer to report to the Director of Technical Operations. This role solves the critical business problem of deploying, managing, and optimizing industrial robotics and automation systems to drive manufacturing efficiency. The incumbent will serve as the technical expert to implement robust testing frameworks and integrate robotic solutions with cloud platforms.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop and execute automation scripting using Python and physical robotic programming frameworks.

• Handle physical robotic arms (COBOTS), including mounting, handling, and operational deployment.

• Integrate APIs with cloud platforms to ensure seamless data connectivity and system communication.

• Support comprehensive device testing activities, troubleshooting, and performance validation.

• Collaborate cross-functional with engineering teams to deliver innovative automation solutions and communicate technical updates effectively.
