Robotic Weld Operator

Norwood Sales Inc. is seeking experienced Robot Welders for day (6am to 4:30pm) Preferred qualifications include at least 1 years of production and can set up and program Robot-Welders, testing and modifying programs and providing automation support and repairs when needed.

Job Functions:

• Ability to solve complex problems
• Capable of interpreting a variety of instructions furnished in written, verbal, diagram and schedule form.

Requirements:

• Robotic Operating: 2+ years – IGM and Fanuc experience required
• Some PLC programming preferred
• Ability to read and interpret documents including electrical and pneumatics blueprints
• Experience with robot mechanical, controller, gripper and work cell repairs
• Proficient in advanced mechanical assemblies, sensor technology, pneumatics and vision setups/adjustments
• Previous experience with automation, robot controls and vision systems highly preferred.
• Must be a self-starter and team player, general math, welding and blueprint reading skills required.
