Robotic Welding Programmer

For my client, I am looking for a Robotic Welding Programmer to support the implementation, optimization and continuous improvement of automated welding processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, modify and maintain welding programs for Panasonic industrial robots , both online and offline using DTPS .
• Program and commission robotic welding processes for new products and optimize existing applications.
• Set and fine-tune welding parameters to ensure process stability, repeatability and product quality.
• Cooperate with Production, Welding Engineering and Quality teams during new project launches and process improvements.
• Support the selection, development and optimization of welding fixtures, tooling and equipment.
• Analyze welding defects and production issues, identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
• Participate in process improvement and troubleshooting activities related to robotic welding.
• Ensure that programmed processes comply with relevant quality and safety requirements.
• Prepare and maintain basic technical and process documentation.

Requirements

• Previous experience in programming industrial or welding robots , preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Practical knowledge of Panasonic robots and DTPS ; experience with Fanuc/RoboGuide is an advantage.
• Good understanding of MAG welding processes , welding parameters and common welding defects.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and basic manufacturing documentation.
• Experience with robotic welding process optimization, commissioning and troubleshooting.
• Ability to independently diagnose technical problems, identify root causes and implement solutions.
• Familiarity with welding fixtures, tooling and automated production equipment.
• Knowledge of Arc-Eye or other robotic welding tracking systems is an advantage.
• Welding-related qualifications, certifications or technical education are welcome.
• Communicative English for technical communication and documentation.
• Good teamwork and communication skills, combined with a practical and problem-solving approach.
• Willingness to work directly with production equipment and support shop-floor activities.
