Robotics and Controls Engineer

Responsibilities

1. Develops, designs, and programs controls solutions for automated robotic manufacturing systems.

2. Create hardwire drawings, pneumatic drawings, I/O bit maps and logic for robots and small to midsize automated systems.

3. Provides technical assistance to customers, sales, service and training. Direct customer/user in proper operation of robots and systems.

4. Assists Japan with the development of new systems/software and hardware.

5. Develop and maintain skills on robotic applications and technologies.

6. Completes special assignments

Requirements

1. Minimum three years of experience in controls engineering and controls design or robotics application engineering and design

2. Must be proficient in PLC (AB family) hardwire design, logic code/debug and pneumatics.

3. ACAD experience

4. Minimum two-year degree in relevant Electrical, Controls, Robotics or Electronics field.

5. Ability to handle several projects concurrently.

6. Ability to work well with customers, Project Management Team and shop floor

7. Travel required for project meetings at customer site and commissioning and debug during install.

Pay: $73,200.00 - $88,200.00 per year
