Robotics Engineer

Robotics Engineer (Remote, Full-Time) Rex.zone is listing a remote robotics engineering opportunity focused on building and deploying reliable autonomy capabilities for real-world robotic systems. You will collaborate in a distributed environment with workflows that support remote development, testing, and deployment coordination.

What You’ll Work On

• Build and optimize ROS/ROS2 components for perception, localization, planning, and control
• Integrate sensors (LiDAR, cameras, IMU, GPS) and implement sensor fusion for state estimation
• Develop and tune SLAM/localization modules; evaluate performance across environments
• Implement motion planning behaviors, trajectory generation, and safety constraints
• Create simulation workflows (e.g., Gazebo) for repeatable regression tests and scenario validation
• Instrument telemetry and logs; analyze field data to diagnose failures and improve reliability
• Use CI and containerization (Docker) to enable reproducible robotics builds and deployments

Required Qualifications

• Mid-Senior experience building robotics systems or autonomy features
• Strong C++ and Python with Linux development workflows
• Hands-on experience with ROS/ROS2, TF frames, and common robotics packages
• Understanding of perception fundamentals, sensor fusion, SLAM/localization, motion planning, and control systems
