Job Description: RPA Developer

Employment Type: 12-Month Contract (Renewable)

Job Overview

We are looking for an RPA Developer to design, develop, implement, and maintain Robotic Process Automation (RPA) solutions to support business processes and operational efficiency. The successful candidate will work closely with business users and project teams to understand requirements, deliver high-quality automation solutions, and ensure compliance with established development standards and best practices.

Please note: This is a 12-month contract position, with the possibility of renewal subject to business requirements and performance.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and implement robotic process automation solutions throughout the project development lifecycle.

Maintain and enhance developer standards, ensuring adherence to RPA best practices and established development guidelines.

Conduct code reviews and participate in development sessions and pair programming to mentor and support fellow developers.

Research, evaluate, and document alternative solutions and improved development practices for future projects.

Collaborate directly with business users to identify process gaps, gather requirements, and ensure solutions accurately address business needs.

Monitor project progress, provide timely status updates, and escalate issues or risks when necessary.

Prepare and maintain technical design documentation, process documentation, and user guides.

Deploy automation solutions in accordance with established change management procedures.

Provide post-deployment support and Level 3 technical support to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues.

Ensure the completeness, quality, and reliability of automation solutions while meeting agreed project timelines and business requirements.

Requirements

Degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent qualifications with relevant working experience.

Minimum 2 years of experience in RPA development.

Hands-on experience in designing, developing, implementing, and maintaining RPA solutions.

Strong problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills.

Good written and spoken English communication skills.

Ability to follow established development standards, regulatory requirements, and organisational policies.

Strong attention to detail, with a commitment to delivering quality solutions within agreed timelines.

Ability to collaborate effectively with business users, developers, and cross-functional project teams.

Preferred Qualifications

UiPath Advanced Developer Certification is preferred.

Knowledge of banking processes and business process automation is an added advantage.

Familiarity with industry best practices for RPA development, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
