Robotics Engineer (Mid-Senior) — Remote (US) Rex.zone connects experienced robotics engineers with full-time remote teams building production autonomous systems. You will work across ROS/ROS2 autonomy stacks, perception, and simulation-to-real validation to ship reliable robot behavior.

What You Will Do

• Design and maintain ROS/ROS2 nodes, interfaces, and core robot software architecture
• Implement and improve SLAM/localization and navigation/motion planning behaviors
• Integrate and calibrate sensors (LiDAR, cameras, IMU) and support hardware bring-up
• Build sensor fusion/state estimation pipelines and control-loop reliability improvements
• Maintain simulation environments and simulation-to-real workflows with log replay
• Create tooling for logging, debugging, field triage, and performance profiling
• Write automated tests, CI checks, and documentation for shipped modules

Required Qualifications

• Mid-senior experience delivering production robotics software end-to-end
• Strong C++ and Python skills in Linux environments
• Hands-on ROS/ROS2 experience with debugging and performance tuning
• Knowledge of SLAM, localization, navigation, kinematics, and state estimation

Compensation Hourly base pay range: $30–$50 (USD), depending on fit and scope.
