ROBOTICS ENGINEER. (Mechatronics Engineer)

We are seeking an ambitious Robotics Engineer to join our team. You will work closely with executive management—leveraging over 30 years of industry experience—to design, enhance, and innovate modern machinery targeted for the Australian and New Zealand markets, with plans to expand into Japan in the near future.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Robotics Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Automation Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Engineering.
• Core Understanding: Solid grasp of the integration between mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems.
• Language Skills: Basic working proficiency in English.
• Experience Level: Open to both Fresh Graduates and Experienced Engineers.

Technical Skills (Hard Skills)

• Programming: Proficiency in C, C++, Python, Java, C#, .NET, MATLAB, HDLs, LISP, Prolog, etc., with strong command of ROS (Robot Operating System).
• Control Systems & Electronics: Circuit design, sensor integration, and motor control dynamics.
• Mechanical Design: Competency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks or AutoCAD) for part drafting and modeling.
• AI & Machine Learning: Understanding of practical AI applications to enable autonomous robotic learning and decision-making.

Interpersonal Skills (Soft Skills)

• Problem Solving: Ability to diagnose and debug issues across both software code and physical hardware.
• Teamwork: Strong cross-functional collaboration with production teams, programmers, and designers.
• Continuous Learning: Drive to stay current with emerging technologies in automation and AI.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the lead in designing truss equipment and structural frames using CAD software.
• Assist in the physical assembly and fabrication of designed equipment and structural components.
• Implement and optimize robotics systems integrated within machinery and automated setups.
• Work comprehensively across hydraulic, electrical, pneumatic, and robotic machinery systems.
• Ensure all engineering designs comply with Australian and New Zealand Occupational Health & Safety regulations and standard requirements.
