[Robotics Lab] Bi-manipulator Control

Who we are We are responsible for the research and development of control algorithms and system software for medical, service, and industrial articulated robots using internalized robotics technology.

Responsibilities In this role, you will have the opportunity to develop a real-time control algorithm of a bi-manipulator robot including force/perception-based control.

■ Control Algorithm

• Developing model-based and learning-based bi-manipulator control algorithm
• Developing force and cognition-based control algorithms
• Developing gripper and master arm control algorithms

■ Control Programming

• Programming real-time robot control algorithms
• Programming simulations
• Optimizing algorithms for high-speed computing

■ System Programming

• Controlling system peripheral devices and implementing wired and wireless communications
• Understanding and implementing CANopen and EtherCAT communication systems

Minimum Qualifications

• Master's degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Robotics, or related fields
• Minimum 5 years of experience in robot control
• Proficiency in English (fluent in both written and oral business communication)
• Research experience in manipulator control and motion planning
• Proficiency in C, C++, Python, and MATLAB

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in Optimal control, robust control, robotics, reinforcement and imitation learning-based control
• Experience in control algorithm and deploying software for mass-produced products
• Ability to use Real-Time Linux, EtherCAT, Learning Framework, advanced programming skills in C++
