What they need
About Kovari
Kovari develops frontier technology to transform physical businesses. We partner with established operators to change how they run, and we build and operate businesses of our own through our subsidiaries.
We are a small team of builders, operators, and researchers. We deploy on site, alongside the businesses we serve, and iterate in the field. We have raised over $6M from leading investors.
We are based in San Francisco and work in person.
The Role
As a Production Associate, you will help build out and ramp up our robot production in San Francisco. You will assemble, test, and repair electro-mechanical components and systems, and work closely with our hardware, software, and product teams. This role can be part time or full time, and we are happy to work out a schedule that fits you.
This is a hands-on role. You will build real robots that go into live operations, and you will help us find and fix whatever slows the line down.
What You'll Do
- Assemble components and systems using hand tools and equipment on the production line
- Follow SOPs and work instructions to keep quality and accuracy high
- Operate manufacturing equipment safely and professionally
- Complete production tasks on time while meeting quality and safety standards
- Keep your work area clean and organized
- Analyze failed units for root cause and perform rework
- Find ways to improve throughput, reduce scrap, and improve safety and quality
- Design fixtures, equipment, and processes to make those improvements real
- Work across teams to clear production roadblocks
What You Bring
- Hands-on ability to build electro-mechanical assemblies
- Prior production experience is not required. Engineering or design experience is a plus
- A quick learner who adapts to changing priorities and communicates clearly
- Strong work ethic and a team-first attitude
- Attention to detail and the ability to work quickly in a fast-paced environment
- Comfort learning new skills, tools, and technology
- You love diagnosing technical problems
- Flexibility on schedule, including shifts when needed
Schedule
Part time or full time. Typical full-time hours are 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, in person at our San Francisco facility. Part-time hours are flexible.
Compensation
$28/hour
