About The Role Design, implement, and maintain robotics autonomy software for real-world robots across perception, localization/SLAM, motion planning, and control. You will build simulation-first workflows (Gazebo), integrate sensors (camera, LiDAR, IMU, odometry), and support reliable deployments to real hardware in a remote, distributed engineering team.

Key Responsibilities

• Own core ROS/ROS2 modules (interfaces, lifecycle nodes, TF frames, orchestration)
• Implement perception and sensor fusion pipelines for robust environmental understanding
• Develop and tune motion planning and control for smooth, safe robot behavior
• Build simulation assets, scenarios, and regression test suites to validate edge cases
• Create tooling for logging, replay, metrics, and debugging for faster iteration
• Contribute to CI/CD, Docker-based deployments, and automated test pipelines
• Support integration, bring-up, and field debugging to improve reliability end-to-end

Required Qualifications

• Mid-Senior experience building robotics/autonomous systems software
• Strong C++ and Python skills with testable, maintainable, performance-aware code
• Hands-on ROS/ROS2 experience (bagging/logging, navigation concepts)
• Linux development, debugging, Git, code reviews, unit/integration testing

How To Stand Out Show shipped robotics systems, ownership of ROS2 architecture, and measurable outcomes (e.g., improved localization accuracy, reduced planner latency, fewer field failures). Include demos, repositories, or technical write-ups when available.
