Robotics Software Engineer (Motion Planning & Localization)

Chore Robotics is looking for a highly motivated Robotics Software Engineer to join our team and work on the autonomy stack for our next generation of outdoor autonomous robots. This is a full-time engineering role focused on developing and deploying robotics software for real-world autonomous systems. You will work closely with hardware, and software to turn algorithms into reliable capabilities on physical robots.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop motion planning, navigation, path planning, and obstacle avoidance.
• Build localization & sensor-fusion systems using LiDAR, IMU, GNSS/RTK, encoders, cameras, etc.
• Implement trajectory generation and path tracking.
• Develop, test, and deploy software on real robots.
• Work with ROS 2, C++, and Python.
• Debug and optimize autonomy systems through simulation and field testing.

Required Qualifications

• BS/MS in Robotics, CS, EE, Mechatronics, or a related field.
• Strong experience in ROS2, C++ and Python.
• Solid understanding of robotics, localization, motion planning, and sensor fusion.
• Strong understanding of Linux-based robotics development.
• Bonus: Nav2, SLAM, LiDAR localization, EKF/UKF, MPC, RRT/A*, GNSS/RTK, Isaac Sim/Gazebo, Jetson, or outdoor UGV/AMR experience

Pay: From Rs90,000.00 per month
