Robotics Technician / Electrical Engineer

Evolution Wheel is looking for a full-time Robotic Technician with extensive knowledge of robotics and electrical maintenance. This individual will work directly with the company’s Production Manager and ensure that automation equipment is properly setup and maintained.

Key Responsibilities include:

· Performing troubleshooting and repairs to Fanuc robots, electrical controls, and pneumatic systems with minimal supervision.

· Adjusting equipment and repair or replace defective parts, components or systems; operating tools to fabricate parts during repair.

· Participating in Preventative Maintenance programs and/or helping create programs for new equipment.

· Conducting safety checks on company equipment.

· Complying with all safety regulations and policies.

· Interpreting technical manuals and drawings.

The successful candidate should possess the following skills:

· Minimum 3 years of Electrical Engineer experience

· Extensive electrical and mechanical knowledge, and a strong understanding of pneumatic controls, PLC, Robotic programing and hydraulic systems.

· Excellent interpersonal and English communication skills

· Strong sense of urgency with proven record of following through to meet deadlines

· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

· Ability to organize and plan daily tasks with minimal supervision

· Ability to work in a team-based environment

· Experience programming for robots, control systems, and competition robotics platforms, wiring electronic circuits, programming microcontrollers, sensor integration, PID control, gear ratios, and autonomous navigation. would be an asset

· FANUC training would also be an asset

Pay: $30.00-$50.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40.0 per week
