Rock Driller

H&W Construction is seeking a skilled operator to operate a stand beside or cab hydraulic track drill. The applicant would be working as part of a drilling and blasting team to perform work up and down the Shenandoah Valley and portions of West Virginia. The person would help with stemming of holes and placement of explosives to aid the blaster in day’s activities. Applicant must be able to obtain a clear background check with ATF. The chosen applicant will be awarded a full-time job with potential growth opportunities. Applicants must be detail oriented with the willingness to work together as a team to ensure project schedules are met but the quality of build is never compromised. Candidate should have knowledge in the following areas: Previous drilling experience, ability to operate heavy equipment.

Essential Job Requirements:

· Knowledge and experience with Drilling and Blasting Operations / Heavy Equipment

· Pass a Criminal Background Check - No felony criminal convictions

Preferred Qualifications:

· Strong communication skills

· Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation.

· The work will be performed outdoors in a variety of weather conditions, the candidate must have the ability to work in both hot and cold environments.

· Works well with others and is a team player

· Wages dependent on experience

· Knowledge of OSHA Regulations and Blasting laws
