Responsibilities Brasfield & Gorrie is hiring an experienced Rodman to join our field team on an active power plant construction project in Cartersville, GA. If you have surveying, layout, and blueprint-reading experience, this is a strong opportunity with a top-ranked industrial general contractor.

About The Role As a Rodman, you'll support the Field Engineer with construction layout, operate surveying instruments, and help ensure accurate concrete and pipe placement throughout the project site.

Rodman Job Responsibilities

• p]:inline" data-streamdown="list-item">Adjust and operate surveying instruments, such as the theodolite and electronic distance-measuring equipment
• p]:inline" data-streamdown="list-item">Assist Field Engineer in concrete and pipe layout
• p]:inline" data-streamdown="list-item">Operate construction level and transit
• p]:inline" data-streamdown="list-item">Compile notes, perform layout calculations, make sketches, and enter data into computers
• p]:inline" data-streamdown="list-item">Read and check construction blueprints and plans
• p]:inline" data-streamdown="list-item">Frequently lift materials up to 50 lbs
• p]:inline" data-streamdown="list-item">Maintain strict compliance with jobsite safety protocols in a drug-free workplace

• p]:inline" data-streamdown="list-item">Strong attention to detail and accuracy in layout work
