Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Roll Clamp Forklift Operator to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced warehouse environment. The ideal candidate will have experience operating various types of forklifts, specifically roll clamp trucks, and possess a strong understanding of warehouse operations. This role is crucial for ensuring the efficient movement of goods within our facility while adhering to safety regulations.

As a Roll Clamp Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of a forklift equipped with a roll clamp attachment.

Your primary duties will include:

Operating the forklift to move, stack, and organize goods in the warehouse.

Loading and unloading goods from trucks and storage areas.

Build and stack pallets for storage or shipment while ensuring load stability.

Perform order picking tasks accurately and efficiently to fulfill customer orders.

Conduct routine inspections of equipment to ensure compliance with OSHA standards.

Assist in maintaining an organized and clean work environment.

Collaborate with warehouse supervisors and management to optimize workflow and productivity.

Utilize warehouse management systems to track inventory and manage stock levels.

Follow all safety protocols and procedures to minimize risks in the workplace.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent.

Valid forklift operator certification.

Proven experience operating a roll clamp forklift in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Familiarity with order picking processes and warehouse management systems.

Strong understanding of warehouse safety practices.

Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team.

Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

Physical ability to lift and move heavy objects.
