Roll-Off Driver

Here at DFW Industrial Metals We are seeking an experienced Roll-off Driver who is Self-Motivated & has a strong work ethic to join our team!

Job Summary:

Roll-Off Drivers safely operate a heavy-duty truck and are responsible for preparing and transporting large mobile open top containers to designated sites & customer locations. Roll-Off Drivers will navigate driveways, alleyways, lots, high traffic roadways and may operate in tight overhead environments while on industrial routes. Highly skilled backing maneuvers are essential, to successfully perform this job.

Responsibilities:

Including, but not limited to:

• Safely operate a heavy duty roll-off truck
• Responsible for safely securing load before hauling
• Clean up work area at the end of shift
• Report any issues or incidents to dispatch
• Conduct Pre and post trip inspections
• Regular attendance and punctuality are vital attributes for all employees

Work Environment

• Required to use motor coordination with arm, hand, finger, and leg dexterity.
• Required to exert physical effort in handling objects more than 75 pounds frequently.
• Requires pushing, pulling, bending, twisting and lifting up to 100 pounds.
• Normal setting for this job is outdoors
• Will be exposed to a physical environment, which involves dirt, odors, noise, weather extremes or similar elements most of the workday

Qualifications:

• Ability to handle physical workload
• Must pass a medical physical and drug test
• Must pass a background check
• Self-Motivated & Strong work ethic!

Experience:

• Minimum 1–2 years of commercial driving experience preferred (roll-off or dump truck experience a plus)

License/Certification:

• CDL A (Required)

Starting pay $23/hour (Depending on experience) with 90 day probationary period. (Employee will be reviewed for raise)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $23.00 - $24.00 per hour
