Job Overview

Capital City & HR Refuse is seeking a dependable, experienced, and safety-conscious Roll-Off Truck Driver to join our team.

This position is responsible for safely operating a roll-off truck to deliver, exchange, and retrieve waste containers at commercial, residential, and construction locations.The ideal candidate will have commercial driving experience, strong knowledge of DOT safety regulations, and the ability to operate roll-off equipment safely and efficiently. We are looking for a motivated individual who takes pride in their work, demonstrates professionalism, and can work independently while providing dependable service to our customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate a roll-off truck to deliver, exchange, and retrieve waste containers.
• Transport containers to designated disposal facilities and customer locations.
• Properly load, secure, and unload roll-off containers using hydraulic equipment.
• Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Follow assigned routes and schedules to ensure timely service.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, pickups, and completed services.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch, management, and customers.
• Identify and report vehicle maintenance concerns or equipment malfunctions.
• Maintain cleanliness and general upkeep of assigned equipment.
• Follow all applicable DOT regulations, traffic laws, and company safety procedures.
• Safely maneuver commercial vehicles in residential neighborhoods, commercial properties, and construction sites.
• Maintain a professional attitude and provide courteous customer service.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required.
• Previous roll-off truck driving experience strongly preferred.
• Acceptable driving record.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and commercial vehicle safety procedures.
• Experience operating hydraulic roll-off equipment preferred.
• Ability to safely maneuver large commercial vehicles in confined spaces.
• Ability to operate manual transmission commercial vehicles, if required.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to follow assigned routes.
• Dependable, punctual, and capable of working independently.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
• Ability to perform the physical requirements associated with operating roll-off equipment.

Compensation & Benefits

• Hourly Wage: 24.00–28.00, based on experience and qualifications.
