Job Summary

Join our dynamic team as a Roll-Off Driver, where you will be the vital link in our waste management and logistics operations. In this energetic role, you will operate specialized roll-off trucks to transport and dispose of various types of cargo, including industrial waste, construction debris, and recyclable materials. Responsibilities

• Safely operate roll-off trucks and tractor-trailers on over-the-road (OTR) routes, ensuring timely pickups and deliveries of freight and hazardous materials.
• Load and unload cargo using manual handling techniques, forklifts, or truck-mounted equipment, adhering to safety protocols.
• Navigate using GPS systems to optimize routes, avoid delays, and meet delivery schedules efficiently.
• Comply with FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration), DOT (Department of Transportation), hazardous materials regulations, and other safety standards during all operations.
• Secure loads properly for transport, ensuring the safe handling of dangerous goods or hazardous materials as required by law.
• Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, cargo details, inspections, and delivery documentation in accordance with regulatory requirements.
• Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after trips to ensure the truck’s safety and readiness for operation.

Skills

• Proven experience operating commercial trucks such as roll-off trucks, flatbeds, tankers, or dump trucks in a logistics or waste management environment.
• Strong knowledge of truck loading/unloading procedures and cargo handling techniques.
• Familiarity with GPS navigation systems for route planning and real-time adjustments.
• Ability to drive manual transmission vehicles safely over long distances on OTR routes.
• Understanding of FMCSA regulations, DOT compliance, hazardous materials regulations (Hazmat), and safety protocols related to dangerous goods transportation.
• Skilled in manual handling tasks including load securing, forklift operation (preferred), and truck loading/unloading processes.
• Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with relevant endorsements for hazardous materials if applicable.
• Excellent driving record with experience in delivery driving within a logistics or industrial setting.

Pay: $26.00 - $32.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40.0 per week
