Roller Compactor Operator — Job Responsibilities

• Operate road rollers and vibratory compactors safely and efficiently.
• Compact soil, gravel, asphalt, and other construction materials according to project specifications.
• Inspect the roller/compactor before starting work and report any mechanical issues.
• Adjust vibration, speed, frequency, and operating settings according to material and site conditions.
• Ensure proper compaction levels and maintain required density and surface quality.
• Follow instructions from the site supervisor, foreman, or civil engineer.
• Coordinate with excavator, grader, paver, water tanker, and other equipment operators.
• Monitor the work area and maintain safe distances from workers, vehicles, and other machinery.
• Perform basic daily maintenance, including cleaning, lubrication, and checking fluids.
• Follow site safety procedures, PPE requirements, and traffic-management guidelines.
• Maintain the machine in good working condition and report breakdowns promptly.
• Complete equipment inspection and operation records when required.
• Work according to project schedules and meet daily productivity targets.
• Keep the work area clean and ensure safe operation on slopes and uneven terrain.
• Comply with company policies and applicable health, safety, and environmental requirements.

Pay: From AED2,000.00 per month
